WORK IT GIRL

                                                                      Happy Tuesday!
I know there is nothing happy about 'Tuesday' especially it falling at the beginning of the week which means weekend is still far but hey we got to make everyday count right? Talking of making everyday count, at one point in my life, I used to focus so much in the future that I forget to live in the present and this had a negative impact on me.

I used to share my future dreams and aspiration with this someone special and he will always listen and  kept telling me that I should take one day at a time because he thought I was over ambitions ( which was true). It took me time to realize that he was actually telling me truth and I thank him for that. Today I concentrate on living in the moment and letting God take control of everything.

On today's outfit I wore this number sometimes last week to work though I wore the top Here and the skirt Here sometimes back you can check how I styled them.

There is this quote I got from this blog Its a lovely life, they have some really beautiful quotes. "Stop waiting for Friday, for Summer, for someone to fall in love with you,for life. Happiness is achieved when you stop waiting for it and make the most of the moment you are in now."

A POP OF COLOR + SANDALS + SEQUIN

Hello

I am hoping that your week has been great and now you are all looking forward for the weekend. Thursday is my favorite day of the week simply because its a Salsa Night yay! I fell in love with salsa from day one and I have never looked back, listening to salsa music brings total happiness to my soul.

I remember some years back, anytime I loved a song from a particular community I felt like marrying someone from that community so that I would be part of it for the rest of my life, weird right, I know. This has happened to me with salsa music, Mexican songs, Nigerian traditional songs and their dance and some communities from Kenya. I guess all these was a phase and I no longer feel this way anymore, I don't know if any of you felt the same thing, I would love to hear about it.

Anywho, back to my outfit details, I got this Satchel from a random Shop in Rwanda after hunting for it for the longest time ever and to this beautiful sequin skirt, I actually did not like it the first time I saw it but my friend did unfortunately it was small for her and she pass it on to yours truly and guess what, it fitted perfectly and it only costed $4

KIGALI, RWANDA

Hello
I am sorry for being mia in the past few Months but now am back. This Month happens to be the Month that I officially started blogging though I haven't been steady but I promise I will try this coming months, time flies huh. During the the Easter Holidays my friends and I decided to go for a mini vacay to Rwanda, as of now you know how much I love travelling, I grab any chance that gives me the opportunity to explore this beautiful Universe.

There are so many things that can be done in Kigali, but because we were there for few days, we decided to visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, this is one place that you would not miss to visit while in Kigali. We paid a small fee for our entry and I paid $10 for taking pictures inside the Museum.

It was heartbreaking seeing what the Rwandese went through during the genocide but inspirational that they positively overcame it and are now a peace loving country. Below are some of the pictures I took.
